SCM Professional Centre Sdn. Bhd. (SCMPC) Malaysia emphasized on providing Vocational Award Bearing Programme which meet the industries needs thus enabling our learners to be more employable in a competitive marketplace. SCMPC’s trainers are academically qualified in the respective area within the Procurement and Supply discipline. The trainers are also industry practitioners with more than 20 years of relevant work experience. The trainers are also members of Professional Bodies including CIPS. One of our trainers, Mr. Edward Ang Hock Heng is a Fellow Member of CIPS. Quite a number of our trainers are PhD holders and candidates who undertake collaborative research with the universities.


SCMPC has carefully selected every trainer based on their profiles, highest qualifications, professional membership and experience in the procurement and supply/supply chain industries. SCMPC has a robust and knowledgeable team in Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Risk Management and etc.


David is a well-known expert in the field of Purchasing and Supply Management. Based in the U.K., his services are in demand internationally, and he has undertaken work in over 30 countries, including West and East Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia. David is professor Emeritus at the University of South Wales, and has taughtat several Universities in the UK and overseas. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, and received the ‘Outstanding Contribution’ Award in 2003 in recognition of his work in relation to education and training. He has served CIPS in several roles, including those of chief examiner and accreditation advisor.and is approved by CIPS as a facilitator in official corporate award programmes. He is the joint author of three successful textbooks texts in the area of purchasing and supply, namely, Procurement Principles and Management, (FT Publishing), A Dictionary of Purchasing and Supply, (Cambridge Academic Press) and Storage and Supply of Materials (Pitman). A frequent visitor to Malaysia, David teaches on a Masters Degree programme in Kuala Lumpur, and has undertaken public courses and in house work for a range of local organizations.
